Hi i just got 2 new ssds the crucial mx100 and i wanted to know if my sata ports where they are plugged into is sata 2 or 3? My pc

You'll have to do some investigating into that specific motherboard to see where to plug those drives into.
BestBuy specs only says 'SATA'.

Every port is Sata 3 you are good to go. On Haswell read 4xxx gen no ports are sata 2 any more.
