[SOLVED] SATA-2 speed for SATA-3 SSD's same??

If I've got a 3 Gbps SATA-2 port on my PC then does it matter what SATA-3 SSD I choose? (SanDisk SSD plus, Kingston a400, wd blue, crucial mx 500 &Samsung 860 Evo) for performance? Will a top end SSD still beat a budget SSD on SATA-2?

right the sata 3 drive will be limited to sata 2 speed. so more than likely you'll max out the bandwidth on the sata port long before the drive is saturated. but it'll still be faster than a spinning hdd .

You still want one with a faster 30MB/s + for 4k random speeds. This is where SSD's destroy HDD's
