SATA 3 on GA-P55A-UD3 not recognizing anything

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD.

I'm running on GA-P55A-UD3, and I noticed that my SSD & HDD are connected to SATA 2.
I've tried to connect them (solely or both) to the SATA 3 port without success. the motherboard can't recognize any of them.

My BIOS is updated to the last version (F11).

Any Suggestions?

Make sure that the individual SATA ports you are using are enabled in Bios. If you are running earlier then Windows 7 you may have to install an SSD driver also.

How can i check this out? I'm new to BIOS settings..

Windows 7 is not relevant, BIOS can't recognize any storage..
