My Google-Fu seems to be lacking. I know an IDE to SD adapter exists, seen them in Youtube videos. But does a SATA 3 to Micro SD adapter exist? I am not finding anything but some crazy 10 Micro SD thing to build a RAID which is *way* overkill. Just need a 1 or 2 Micro SD to SATA adapter. Thank you for your time.

Want to, with out screwing up my current configuration, play around with other alternative OSes. Like ReactOS or Linux, etc. Even though I got a reasonable Ryzen 1700x it still lags a little, screen size is terrible, and I don't have access to all my hardware, like the sound card, in an emulator. Not to mention I've never got ReactOS to work right in ... VMWare? I think that's what I was using. So I was thinking of booting off of an Micro SD, will allow me to mess around with the OS with everything, both screens, sound card, video card, etc. If it doesn't work out, wipe it and try another, if none of them work out, remove the MicroSD and boot off the HDD and it's like nothing ever happened.

Yes, you can run Live Linux and the likes from an USB port and any card with adapter or any USB stick. Nice program to get you started with http://www.linuxliveusb.com/ which can download and make bootable anything USB. You can also choose to include "persistence" part (up to 4GB) with which you can keep programs installed which would otherwise be lost upon a reboot. 8 to 16 GB is quite enough for all of that although even 4GB may work but depends on Linux distro.

Ok, that's Linux covered, what about ReactOS and other non Linux alternative OSes?

ReactOS also has a LiveCD version.

(and React is still far, far from actual usable stability)
