I'm building a pc and I have 5 old Samsung 80gb hard drives and two 160gb western digital hard drives that I own. I was planning to use them for my build. Then, I found out that they were sata 2 hard drives instead of sata 3. Will this bottleneck my system? And, will it impact my performance?

Part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/MBGd4D

(I will be overclocking my cpu)

Solution
No, they won't bottleneck anything. Except for being old and slow drives.

5 x 80GB + 2 x 160GB = 720GB = 7 old drives about to fail

$1000 PC and you want to use ancient drives?
1 x new 1TB = $50

hahaha.....no.
5 x 80GB drives + RAID 1 = 80GB usable drive space.

Buy a 1TB drive. Use that.
Adding another 80GB drive adds a HUGE 8% drive space.

These drives are ancient, small, slow, and probably near fail.
As the years go by, everyone collects a stack of old drives. They are old, and slow, and small.
The drive space they contribute to a new system is NOT worth the effort.
