Sata cable is it safe to use even when the "lock" thing is broken? lol...

Well one of my sata cable have that "metal" lock thing u need to press down to remove the hdd broken... is it safe to still use the sata cable..? like wont the "vibration" from the hdd spin remove it if i use it? >.< If it isnt safe to use which brand of sata cable you guys recommend me... (man that asus white/black cable is just so awesome ahaah) but doesnt matter.. if its ugly cable i can use it too lol
PS: Looking for a good sata 3 cable ^^

the lock thing is just a gimick any way as long as the cable is good then it should be fine and as to it falling out no chance there is not that much vibration.

I see and do you know if is there a difference between sata cable..? like i see on a few website they say somes cable doesnt support up to 6gb speed from the sata 3 port and stuff like that but some product i saw dont have any indication about "sata 1/2/3" on it lol...

as long as it is sata 3 which most are thease days there is not much difference between the cheap and expensive as far as data
