SATA Cable not secure

My build runs off of a Mushkin Enhanced Source SSD, and is connected to the MB with a standard SATA cable with a metal clip thing. This clip thing is supposed to click and keep my drive plugged in, but it doesn't click. Is it just the drive, the clip? I'm afraid to push too hard and break something.
