Sata Cable problem.

I notice that the Sata cable connected to my motherboard is not fully in, but it turns on. Will it be fine if i leave the cable alone?

Power off and seat it properly. One tiny vibration, and it will lose connection. Possibly corrupting any data that was being written at the time.

Use SATA cables with retaining clips to avoid this problem. They only cost like 10 cents more than regular SATA cables.
