[SOLVED] Sata cable ripped from motherboard twice. Getting system interrupt.

A couple weeks ago my sata cable was ripped from my motherboard twice in two of the ports. I now have it plugged into a different port. I am now getting occasional system interrupts and assume that is the cause. I’m just not sure what component is causing the interrupt, and I do not know how to fix it.

what the system on at the time?

Yes the system was on at the time. The cord was pulled and the piece on the motherboard that the cable goes in came off with the cord.

test the sata device on another pc?
test the psu?
test the motherboard?

It would be logical to say that your motherboard with stuff ripped off from it is the faulty part.

I believe it is my ssd. It seems to only be doing the interrupt when I run programs that are on my ssd. If it is the ssd, should I just move my programs back to my hard drive and look to replace the ssd?

You should plug the SSD into a SATA port that was not "ripped out".
