Question Sata cable too wide for disc drive

I’m in urgent need of a Sata power cable to hook up a disc reader so I can re-install Windows on my broken PC. I had one lurking about in my PC but it’s too wide (Takes up about half of the data slot).

I have counted it’s a 15 pin that I tried and looking around online there doesn’t seem to be much BESIDES 15 pin cables.

What cable do I need to fit this reader?

Why not install Windows via a USB instead? It would be the preferred method.

Because a cable is cheaper & would mean my DvD drive would be functional. I have since found the cable I need, thanks
