SATA connectors on Seagate

This is my first build in quite a while and my first with SATA instead of IDE. I am using a Seagate ST1000DM003. I have connected the power cable, the SATA cable, and still have a 4 pin connector on the hard drive. What is this for.
 
Solution
Its the jumper block, mostly not needed these days unless you have a real old system. It basically turns off the 3gb/s interface and enables the 1.5gb/s.
