Okay, so I was on my PC yesterday, just browsing the tubes -- nothing out of the ordinary. Out of nowhere it just froze, so I hit the reboot switch on my case and waited for it to boot up. Then I got the message "DISK BOOT FAILURE, PLEASE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND RESTART" or something along the lines of that. So I rebooted and went into the BIOS and none of my SATA drives were being detected. Two HDDs and two ROMs, none of them are detected anymore.
2x Samsung DVD-RW drives
1x WD 500GB 7200rpm
1x WD Raptor 150GB
System:
nVidia 680i
Core2Quad 6600
GeForce 8800GTX
4gb OCZ DDR2
I built this system almost 3yrs ago and it's been fine up until now.
Any ideas?
Many thanks.
