SATA disabled in bios

My pc has been working for over 6 months now and when I switched it on this morning I got the “reboot and select proper boot device” error. I knew this was a common problem and just unplugged an replugged my hard drive, this still didn’t help. I went into the bios and it picked up my hard drive in the sata space but says it is disabled. My question is how do I enable my hard drive in the bios?

Solution
I don't know your BIOS but you should be able to re-enable it in the BIOS. Look around.

Also...I would change the CMOS battery. This may have caused it.
