Hello,
I recently purchased an Orico PCI-E SATA III expansion card (PAS3062-2S). I installed the card on a Windows 7 x64 machine, with an ASRock Z68M/USB3 motherboard.
I could install the card no problem, everything worked fine – I could reboot my computer, after driver install, no problem.
Then, I connected a hard drive. Restarted my computer, and it would not boot. The BIOS passes with no problem, but windows will not boot.
Disconnect the drive, and the computer will boot.
It is not a problem with the drive, as it works in one of the SATA ports on the motherboard. Seems whenever I connect any drive to the PAS3062-2S it does not allow the computer to boot.
Why? I honestly have no idea what is causing the problem. Seems to be some kind of conflict, but I can’t get Windows to boot to resolve it…and in all honesty, I have no idea how to resolve it.
Thanks in advance for your help.....
