Hello,

I am in the process of building myself a gaming PC and I am having trouble troubleshooting an issue I am having.

The issue is that my SATA Hard Drive and SSD won't connect to my Motherboard. I have tried unplugging and switching cables, I have switched slots on the motherboard that the HDD and SSD are plugged into and still no success. Can anyone help me diagnose this issue? I am not sure if I need a new motherboard or if the HDD and SSD are to blame. All parts are brand new out of the box.

Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
Motherboard: ASUS B540 AMD Ryzen 2 Micro ATX Gaming Motherboard
RAM: Ballistix Sport LT 8GB
PSU: Corsair RX850
GPU: MSI Geforce RTX 2060
HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 1TB Internal Hard Drive
SSD: ADATA SU800 128GB

Hello, I recently builded my own pc aswell and my problem was that it didn't show up in my file explorer on:"This PC"
How I fixed it whas:
Press windows key or go to search and type: "Disk Management" press enter you will go to the disk management.
In the downpart of the window I hope you see your drive right there, right click on it and press on new volume (I guess, I can't see it because I already did this.) once thats done you will see how mutch space it has and if its online or not.
I hope this helps.
Also you connected it to the motherboard and to the power supply right?

Goodluck!
