How do I replace a smaller hard drive (from being re-built and sold used) from my CQ60-615DX laptop with another one. My laptop will not start up or boot up. Screen shows "system cannot find the specified path, 0x80070003" , or "hard disk full" .

Reinstall the original operating system and software
Boot from the restore disks you were supposed to make when you bought it

Install windows
boot from a installation disk

Install your favorite version of linux
Boot from a linux installation disk

You will have more chances finding a way to do it by going on youtube. Type in your laptop model + disassembly and you should find something (i hope). Every laptop is different but some may have things in common so any video should do the job anyway. Make sure you buy a 2.5" Drive (Go for an Solid State Drive for best performance).
