SATA HD problem

Hi!

After an unwanted partition formatting (not boot disc) my WD CaviarSE16 does not look in the explorer. The WinXp performed a warning before this, but I made, sorry. If the disc in the PC Win boot stops, if disconnected boot is OK. After booting connected this drive the motor spins, I heard the head moving, later stops and can not see in the explorer.

Hi Christian!

Sorry, I do not see. I tried bootable CD programs, too...( e.g. Active Boot Disk). It seems a large problem, to me. May I try another OS (Mac)?
