Sata hdd denies access for windows setup hooked to a foxconn motherboard p4m8907

Hello, i have hooked up my sata hdd to setup windows xp on it but as setup carries on when it ask you to choose a partition to install win xp,it denies access for copying setup files.

im lost, what do i do as i have tried partitioning it as well and had no luck. pls help

Did you load the SATA floppy drivers for your motherboard during install when asked for it? If not that could be your problem
