I don't know the exact specs on the computer, but generally speaking, yes you can. As long as the 2.5" drive inside has standard dimensions, you should be fine. You might notice a little bit less battery life and maybe more heat, but nothing to worry about IMO. I have several buddies who have swapped the 5400 in their macbooks for 7200 drives and seen very literal difference, other than a bit of a speed increase.

Also make sure there aren't any warranty issues with it if you are still covered.
