Hi, I have just fitted a Asus 780ti graphics card into my PC.
My mother board has 6 Sata ports and I was using all of them.
When I went to fit my graphics card I found that It would not fit the case and the sata cables were stopping the graphics card from fitting
Because of this I bought some right angle sata cables and bent the case to get it to fit! It turned out well!
Only problem is the graphics card gives such little space over the sata ports that I am only able to use 4 of the sata ports now. The 2 ports I cant use are because the right angle cables foul the other right angle cables if I try to fit them.
Is there a special sata cable connection designed for this problem or a way to solve this?
PSU ; Antec Signature Pro 650w
Motherboard ; Asus P5K3 Deluxe
Processor ; Intel Quad CoreQ6600
Ram ; 8GB 4x2 Gskill (ripjaw) DDR3 1333MHZ
Graphics ; Asus 780ti Republic Of Gamers
Hard Drive ; Ultra Plus SSD
Cooling ; Akasa CPU fan
Kingston Hyper x memory fan
Antec F12 Pro 120mm case fan
(Also have 2 other case fans installed)
Still have a little neating up to do to the cables
