Sata or oem

I purchased a cd/dvd drive for my HP pavillion 700a and the one I got did not fit the pigtail on the computer. I looked and I need one with two rows of pins not this integrated flat solid state bar that they sent me, what am i actually looking for?

Sounds like IDE and what they have sent is a SATA, if you do not have any SATA ports you could either get an expansion card or contact HP and ask them to send the drive with the correct interface.
