Sata port message displayed when I turn on my computer

Hello, when I turn on my computer it displays a message on sata port. Then it says to continue press F2. When I press F2 it turns off then turns on automatically and then works normally. Actually I don't understand what all this is about and wanted to ask whether my computer is broken and needs repair.
