I recently upgraded to 2 new m.2 SSD's and now NONE of my 8 SATA ports are working. The HDD is spinning but I'm getting no connection. I know the HDD is working because I've put it into my HDD reader and it works just fine.

I was aware using m.2 drives shared usage of the SATA ports but none of them are working now. I've also tried 3 different SATA cables so it's definitely not that.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated at this time.

m.2's used: Sabrent Rocket 1TB & Samsung 980 Pro 1TB
HDD used: Seagate Barracude 4TB
Motherboard: Asrock z370 Extreme4
OS: Windows 10

So, you tested all four of the eight SATA ports that ought to be working, as in turned the PC off, changed the port, and then restarted?

If so, what happens if you remove one or both of the SSDs?

I did. I'm unsure how or what changed but I've managed to get it working using the 3rd inside SATA port. These things happen sometimes, I've learned to just go with it. Thanks for the reply, and have a nice day,
