SATA power connector issues

I build a rig to use for everyday use by everyone in my house. No graphics card but an AMD processor, 8gb ram and 400 watt psu. Its running a MSI motherboard.

There are 3 Sata power connectors coming from the PSU. Only one of them work. I need two for a HDD and a cd/dvd drive. Right now its on my HDD because thats the most important but my dvd drive is basically useless. Only 1 out of the 3 connectors seems to power devices.

Any advice ?

1) Get the SATA splitter cable into 4 of them. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812400127
2) Convert the 4pin molex power cable to SATA. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812119010

Cin19's second option is better.
Its better to use a molex to SATA adapter then to pull extra from a single rail.

But both will do the job.
