Main Question: Can you run the SATA 150 on the Raid Ports without using
Raid itself to get the speed ?
I been told that if you plug into the Raid ports, no mater how they are set
you are still using slip Drives etc.
I been running the Raid Plug in's and Nothing set up except the BOOT for 2
years, and it seems normal.
Not I was going to get the ASUS AV8 Deluxe and the SATA are the only on the
raid ports, they got me messed up, as I assemble my own but don't want to use
raid and have it mess with putting stuff on two drives ?
Question: Were do I stand to get the Speed of SATA without running it as a
Raid, or do I have to use the EIDE and go at ATA 133 ?
Thank you.
PS: winXP v 2
