[SOLVED] SATA strange port

Solution
Why the need for the extra ports?

You could buy a PCIe SATA adapter.

No risk of borking up the board with soldering new ports to that space.

That's actually a header to reprogram the EEPROM for folks who brick the bios.
SATA3_4 refers to the empty box below (C367).

The motherboard is SATA II and PCI-E 1.0 so your SSD is limited to 3Gbps tops.

if you need all three then get an add-on SATA card and plug the DVD into it (whatever's plugged in to the new card is limited to ~125MB/s)

Hi guys, my motherboard MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 has a SATA3_4 13(14-1) male pin connector. SATA1-2 has a black adapter where I have two classical SATA data cables for the HD and the DVD. Could anybody explain me what I need to conect an SSD SATA drive on the SATA3_4 conector? Thank you in advance. Dario
