Is there a Sat to Female USB adapter. I have an idea, where you would connect a USB hub to one, and attach flash drives to the inside. Therefore you could have upgradeable, switchable, and cheap memory, which is close to SSD speeds.
Flash drives aren't anywhere near as fast as SSDs.
The problem is how would you get the USB hub to... recieve/send data from the Sata drive.
They make Sata to USB male connectors, so you could plug a sata hard drive into a USB hub, but you'll be limited by a USB hub.
They also make portable HDD/SSDs already, that you can just plug into any USB port.
What I'm aiming for is to get it cheap, and I don't want flash drives and external drives sticking out of my computer. I want to be able to plug stuff into a SATA port.
Thanks for picking that out for me. I spent about an hour searching and couldn't find anything. What you gave the link to, might work and I would try it but my dad won't let me.
