SATA to IDE

Hello,
My PC previously is running on IDE however the hard disk has spoiled and instead of buying IDE I went and bought SATA. Now when I try to install, it couldnt detect my hard drive. Any solution? Thank you in advance for your help.

Enter the BIOS and set the SATA mode to Legacy or IDE. See if that does it. What id your motherboard though? We need further information to better assist you though.
