Question Sata to mini pcie adapter with WiFi card

I had a nice mobo die on me a few weeks ago, and I snagged the little pcie WiFi card off it, is it possible to have the connection like:
Mobo->sata cable->sata to mini pcie-> mini pcie WiFi card
The new motherboard I got dosent have a mini pcie or spare PCI slots (itx with GPU) I don't want to go the USB route.

You just need a Mini PCIE to SATA adapter card. It's very simple and affordable.
