Hello!
I'm hoping someone can help or at least point out my ignorance
I've installed Ubuntu onto an old PC and it's worked fine, so I needed more storage and got:
A 3TB WD NAS Drive
SATA to PATA convertor
First off, I'm hoping there's no issues with that? I've put it in and I only get to the BIOS before it tells me 0 primary dives found, 0 secondary drives found, 1 secondary drives not found.
There's only the two hdds in there now and they're on separate cables, I was wondering if it's something to do with the jumpers as even if I disconnect the new drive, it says secondary drive not found but I can continue to boot up Ubuntu.
Appreciate the replies!
