Hi Everyone
I have this PC http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02014355&tmp_track_link=ot_faqs/top_issues/en_uk/c02014355/loc:1&cc=uk&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=5095554#N92 W which I have upgraded with an i5 processor and (what was at the time) a decent graphics card and more memory.
I want to upgrade the drive to an SSD, and i have already got a copy of windows 8 to install, the query I have is will an SSD improve my system much. I used HWiNFO64 to get my system data as was recommended on another post as i have no idea what SATA I have and what speeds it will run
Under drive controller it says: Serial ATA 3Gb/s @ 1.5Gb/s. Does this mean it will run at 3Gb/s or 1.5, and will this make much difference?
Many thanks for any advice you can give
Also just notices when looking at the report from HWiNFO64 that it says: SATA Ports 2 and 3: Supported (on the Motherboard Tab)
Sean
