Sata type in laptop

hi gang

I had an Acer Aspire E1 510. it died so now it's data retrieval time. HD is fine; first three charging port was giving out then the display died.

the product info says the HD is Sata-300

I'm looking to get a sata to ide convertor to get the data into my PC

any idea what kind of pin connection I'd need for sata-300?

Could be either a standard sata or a mini sata. Post a pic of the hdd connector. If it's a standard sata then you could just plug it into a sata cable from your motherboard and power it from the psu. If it's mini sata the you can do the same but just need an adaptor.
