Satechi LED Light strips not turning on. Please help!

I need help! I purchased a Satechi LED Light Strip for my computer
When i connect the Molex adapter to turn them on, they flicker for a split second and they don't turn on or respond to the remote control. I'm seriously frustrated, can anyone offer some help or advice?????

Which one do you have? The USB driven or molex powered unit? Are you sure your power supply has the appropriate connectors and that the appropriate connections are made?

Might want to share your full system's specs as well as how you've connected the LED kit to your power source.
