I’m pretty sure the M1 machines are USB 4, but you would think if the dock used that they would have made more of a deal of it. If it did use USB 4, I wouldn’t be much of a loss for the M1 machines. On the Intel side they have 4 USB C ports anyway, so again not really much of a loss.
