Results of last week's poll:
I have {R}{R} in my mana pool. Can I play the Rolling Thunder in my hand to
do 0 damage to one Skulking Ghost, and cause it to be sacrificed?
Yes 13214 86.4%
No 2073 13.6%

.... wow, we have a lot of work to do ;-)
Just to be sure, a Blaze with X=0 can make you sacrifice a Skulking
Ghost, right?

Skulking Ghost
{1}{B}
Creature -- Ghost
2/1
Flying
When ~this~ becomes the target of a spell or ability, sacrifice it.

Yep. The difference is that Blaze is worded so that it always has
exactly one target, whereas Rolling Thunder has a varying number of
targets, which is allowed to be zero (and in the example given, *must*
be zero).

(Similarly, you can Disintegrate something for zero, and though it takes
no damage it will not be able to regenerate for the rest of that turn,
and will be RFGed if it dies. That's a VERY old question whose answer,
as far as I can recall, has never changed.)

I'll admit it, I voted yes. 😛 Stupid variable number of targets.
