The problem with this deal is that a 13.3" M4 Macbook Air (8 Core GPU/16GB RAM/256GB SSD)is only $849.00 at BestBuy, so there's absolutely zero reason to buy the M1 for $649. It's well over 50% faster and you get twice the RAM.

Wait, the M1 was released in 2020 so doesn't that mean this will only have like a year of support left on it?

We don't really actually know since Apple treats this as a closely guarded secret, however history dictates its not very long. So anybody who buys these machines will very quickly be kicked to the curb like garbage.
