Save problem in Computer

Because of shifting table from one corner to another I unplucked all the computer wires then set it at the desired place. But after that when I started computer I saw nothing is there on desktop except recycle bin and net protector. I found it in C:-users-users-desktop. Whenever I go for morzilla firefox or window media player it starts as it is first time (every time occurs when I starts computer after shut down) with process. Also whatever I save on desktop it does not show after start pc. i.e. it disappear after shut down. And if I save it in C:-users-users-desktop then no problem.

Is there any solution.

Sounds like a corrupt user profile. So Windows is loading into a temporary profile. You will need to either try to repair the profile or create a new profile and transfer your files from the old profile.

Note: Creating a new profile and transferring your data is a safer option. As repair requires registry editing. Which can cause serious issues if done incorrectly.
