Question Saved Game clips keep disappearing?

Hi guys and girls

So I've got abit of a problem that I'm hoping someone can please help me solve. The problem is when I was originally saving game play clips I started to run out of space on my crucial 1tb and my game began to run really rough. So I decided to upgrade my storage to a much larger one, a lexar nm790 4tb to be exact. ($300aud)

I received the ssd and wanted to test it out and replace my 1tb drive in m.2 slot (1) on my motherboard. Because it was abit faster in specs gen 4 vs gen 3, games could load faster, bigger storage etc.

Attempt 1 had only lexar 4tb drive installed and did a clean win 11 pro install with saved files from windows official site to a 8gb usb drive. I cheaped out on the win11 pro key and got one from productkeys.com for about ($12aud) after reading reviews saying it works.
Followed the windows setup guide and completed the install. To my surprise I kept getting blue screens popping up constantly, windows needs to be recovered error codes etc.
I contacted msi and a technician guided me in updating the bios, he originally said 4tb lexar may not be compatible if it doesn't work. Even after afew resets etc and shorting the mb battery which technician advised because gpu was in the way to reset still blue screens.

Attempt 2 put the original crucial 1tb back in slot 1, and settled with lexar 4tb in slot 2 as a secondary storage device was working fine or so I thought. I then realized that my game clips were vanishing as I had been saving them to the 4tb lexar. It was quite bazar what was happening, I had saved 20 secs game clips with geforce experience (shadow play) say (20) of them , then save say 6 more, then the 6 new ones would be there but a total of 22 clips instead of 26! Lost a couple of times already quite a number of clips enough to take out 4tb lexar.

Attempt 3 back to original setup happy days....no now the 1tb crucial that is only in my pc is doing the same shenanigans! Just today I had 38 game clips saved, then saved 8 more in a session, now there's only 25 when I checked them. I really didnt think I would still have problems as its now back to the original setup.

Has anyone else experienced weird stuff like this happening?
Side note...I have tried partitioning the 4tb lexar aswell as formatting into 4x1tb bite sized drives etc. to see if that would work but no.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Best if you can label the slots in which the M.2 drives are populating, if your motherboard has multiple slots.

I'm not familiar with this software but I'm wondering if there could be a setting that has it only retain a certain number of clips, or possibly go by the amount of disk space. The disappearing clips sounds like a software issue, not a hardware one.

Yes I you're right!
After further investigation and google searching down the software path regarding the programs I am using.....It turns out that the nvidia geforce experience software saves your clips in a tempary folder. Even if you choose a new deadicated file location for them ect. Explains the missing clips. I need to be aware of this in the future and any good clips at the end of a session need to be moved to a new permanent file location. I think it's a stupid system but it's always a sign of relief when you figure out atleast whats going on.
