Question Saving in games still create hiccups

Hi,
with all of today's fast hardware, autosaves during gameplay still create hiccups. For example, in cyberpunk 2077 and far cry 6..
I am running 14900k with SN850X PCI 4.0 NVMe. Why is that? Is this operation so complicated that even the fastest hardware on the market can't do it smoothly?

What fps do you usually play at?, i remember playing several games that dont hiccup during autosaves, maybe some games do and some don't regardless of hardware.

It depends on the game, but I have a 4090 so usually well above 100 fps (only in cyberpunk it's around 80 -90..cause path tracing). I guess some game don't do that, but also a lot do.
