[SOLVED] Saving up to buy a 1440p 144Hz Moniter and a Geforce RTX 2080 TI which should I buy first?

I have recently started saving up to buy a 1440p 144Hz Monitor, and a Geforce RTX 2080 TI, and was wondering which one I should buy first. Right now I have an MSI GAMING GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDRR5 graphics card, and an Intel Core i9-9900K Processor.

Monitor will last a lot longer than the GPU. Look into ultrawide monitors 3440x1440 or 3840x1600. The extra width is amazing for gaming and productivity work.

I'd say graphics first because 1060 won't be able to push 1440@144.

Geforce RTX 2080 TI ist so overpriced ATM. And there is no real use for the ray tracing ye. I would wait on that one.

I would also say that a GTX 1060 6GB is still okay and does not need replacement yet.

So I am probably not really on the same level as you guy's .
