Question Say I have less installed ram than I actually so (PLEASE HELP)

I built my computer last month and everything has been great with it. I installed GB of ram when i built it and everything with that was fine. it showed in the system info and in the Task Manager performance tab, but the other day my ram has showed that I only have 5.95 gb of ram installed. I thought maybe it was just the usable ram and it would be an easy fix but it was like the actual amount of ram I had installed. I used a program called HWiNFO64 to see if the amount of ram I installed was actually 8gb and sure enough it says i installed 8gb, but the windows system information still says only 5.95 gb.

Oh okay that makes sense, but is there anyway to have it not take up ram. And put that towards regular ram because I already have my graphics card.

You need to disable the onboard graphics in the Bios.
