Question Says I have 250-260 download and 11 upload but google says i have 20 download (same upload).

Also when I download a game on steam I max out at around 30-34 download speed, any clue how to get these numbers up, my friends in my area who have worse wifi, and a worse wifi card get better speeds than me.

You posted the same link for the 2 speedtest. It is not uncommon to get different results from different speedtest sites they can be located in different locations. Try changing the speedtest.com server to another country and see what happens, I am sure it will be much less.

You also have to be careful about your units. Steam uses MBYTES and speedtest uses Mbits. Your speed to steam is 240-272mbits. This means you are getting the same as speedtest.com

Other people in my house are getting 330+ download on different webistes though, and Im not that far from my router and im still getting these low speeds (on google, but on google they get high and i get super low) they are on wifi aswell.

You should never test with wifi since as you found you get different results in different parts of the house.

Does it really matter what you get on google. On the most important thing which is download from steam you get the same rates as speedtest.

Steam shows MB/s difference in bits and bytes so 30X8 240 just like your getting.
