Not even going to click an adored tv video, but please, explain to me how exactly that works.
So you're going to refute watching any evidence, how intellectually lazy of you.
Companies are made of...people, right? Namely, their board of directors, their engineers etc. Im fairly confident that a huge part of people that were on Intel 20 years ago aren't anymore, they are in other companies (including AMD) or they are out of business altogether. So how can a company, which is made of people, and that have completely different people than it had 10-20-30-40 years ago be "dirty"? Is there some kind of magic going on in Intel's headquarters and the moment someone steps in there they turn to evil?
It's called "Company Culture", practices that are passed down from generation to generation of employees.
And it's happening again, even to this day.
Ever notice how MSI has no more Radeon Video Cards, guess who incentivized them to not carry Radeon cards anymore.
Notice how MSI's AMD MoBo line is incredibly sparse compared to ASUS, GigaByte, ASRock, guess who pays incentives / kickbacks to make that happen.
Have you noticed that many of modern portable gaming hand held PC's are nearly all AMD APU's, yet MSI, the only one to buck the trend was bribed to use Intel for their portable hand held, despite it selling horribly and having crap driver support. The upper management knows who is paying them to make such stupid decisions.
Notice how Dell, one of the big OEM's has a paltry AMD lineup compared to HP / Lenovo, guess who pays incentives / kickbacks to make that happen.
This isn't just some blind luck occurance, it's a common practice to suppress the competition through unfair / illegal means. As long as they can get away with it, they'll keep doing it.
AMD couldn't give away their CPU's to Dell when they were winning back in the Athlon 64 days, Intel literally bribed Dell to never take AMD products. Intel was caught and prosecuted on that for violating their Monopoly powers.
And it's continuing to this day.
Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Was Robert Hallock a decent fella back when he was working for AMD and suddenly turned to necromancy and blood magic when he went to work for Intel?
He's a guy who moved over to a higher paying position, simple as that. He did what he could at AMD, rose to the top, and got bought out by being offered a higher paying job at Intel.
Come on, you are just a part of the cult that hates Intel / loves AMD for no reason. Just admit that you hate them for 0 reason whatsoever like everyone else does - at least I couldn't logically argue against it. Now you are pretending there is a reason. Come on, we are grownups here, you are not convincing anyone.
Nothing is without reason, I've lived through the Computer business for long enough to see the giant history of dirty dealings, something Intel and nVIDIA are known for.
Just because you are willfully blind to them because you love the companies, doesn't mean it hasn't already happened. You just refuse to see the evidence because you LOVE those companies and aren't willing to see the bad things they've already done and continue to do.
Have you ever wondered why Apple refuses to do business with nVIDIA anymore?
They were BURNED by nVIDIA in the past after Bump-Gate, after that Apple has a internal mandate to 100% refuse to do business with nVIDIA thanks to their cultural practices led by Jensen Huang.
Notice how MS was burned by nVIDIA during the OG Xbox era, they stopped using them in consoles afterwards.
Same with Sony with PS3, they used nVIDIA once, after that, they've went with AMD since then.
Notice how Nintendo has only used nVIDIA once, so far. We'll see how long that relationship lasts.
Nintendo has used AMD in the past, and only recently lost the bid/contract for the Switch 2 by a hairs margin.
