ublock blocks them because they are technically an ad type address even though they are actually used to track the redierct to the buy site.

there is nothing unsafe or unsavory about the link as it is the way tom's will get credit if you happen to buy something from the link. as noted above it is not a secret but spelled out on the page that toms may get a small commission if you purchase something through a link on the site.

i have purchased multiple items this way just to help tom's out a bit. if i am gonna buy something anyway why not give the site i love a bit of the scratch
