scanjet 4c and XP -- anyone got Drivers/User Manual

Can someone tell me where I can get hold of the user guide (pdf) and
drivers that will work in XP?

I have tried the NT drivers without success 🙁

I had the same issue with a Scanjet 5200 - no XP drivers or HP Precision
scan software, so I installed the drivers and software for the next
availiable scanner in the range and have had no probs. Search on HP's
website, there are instructions on what to do.

Deskscan 2.9 should work fine.
At least it does for the even older HP IIcx with XP.

You just need to also load ASPI from Adaptec site.
W2K and XP dropped ASPI from the OS, though it was in Win9x.

Also, VueScan works fine with this scanner on XP, although it is an
additional expense.
