Thanks to this forum I am now typing on my first homebuild computer.
I have an old barely used scanner laying around. Some of the hardware may be missing. I am not sure how to set it up. I checked out the HP website. They no longer support it. Anyone familiar with this scanner?
What would really be great would be a manual.
Scanjet 5200C

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. What I am looking for is a manual for setting up the hardware connections. I had the scanner laying around unused for many years. I don't know whether I have the correct hardware for it. For instance. I plugged in the power cable. There is some kind of lever that must be locked in place. I cannot move it because the power cable is in the way. I has been a long time since I used it, and I really don't remember what came with it.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I should be more precise in describing my problem.
To the left of the power connector on the scanner, there is a lever that shows two positions. locked and unlocked. When I slide the mechanism over to lock it, the power cable gets in the way. Thanks again for you kind reply
