Scanner show memory full on empty kingston usb

Hi, I tried to scan somce documents and save it on my USB drive but once I try to perform this option my scanner shows that memory is full and to press stop. I format my USB and checked on my PC how much memory got in it and it shows nearly 4GB. Afterwords I change USB for another one and was not able to sane to my USB again, perform format on this one and my scanner still read it as memory full. To checked if there is not any problems with my scanner I borrowed USB from frind and this one worked! What is wrong with my USB that both doesnt work? Thanks for your help

Why don't you scan it to your hard drive first so that you can verify the size of the file before copying it over to your USB drive.
