Scanning

I have an HP ScanJet 5370C. When I scan photos the faces [entire image] come out more rounded and wider than the original photo. Is this normal when scanning photos? Or is this a scanner issue? Are there any scanners that reproduce the images exactly as the original image?

Please advise!

One other possiblility is that your monitor isn't configured correctly.

Hi,

Almost every scanner on the market is capable of doing what you are asking. I would check all of your setting or try the scanner on a friends computer. If you need a new scanner I would check out the new Microtek lineup. I've used them for years and have never had a problem!
