Scared to Clean my PC Cable wise...

My PC works fine and i have LED lights installed so i see the inner-components all the time and what kills me is my cable management... I built my PC myself for the MOST part so i have nobody to blame but myself for this issue but its just that i struggled to build the PC as it took many tries to assemble it. I hated the experience and at the time i didn't care about how it looked as i just wanted it to work. But now i have a strong urge to clean up the cables as dust is building up but i'm scared i might not be able to get the pc working again as i have to basicly un-plug and re-plug everything back in, by the way i don't own a anti-static wrist band i just grounded myself when i built it the first time by touching my PC.
