scarlet 2i4 crackle noise

so i have had this problem for about a month now and its driving me insane i have a scarlet 2i4 with a audio technica 2035 hooked up to it and the 2i4 is plugged into my pc but for some reason when i open certain things like call of duty and any game randomly not always it will make this really loud noise and makes everything sound like a robot all my drivers are up to date its not my headphones cause they work fine one anything else

try reinstalling the driver? ive had the 2i2 for years and never experienced this issue. maybe try another mic or mic cable too.
